My Approach
Want to take a step toward feeling like a more authentic version of yourself?
I use a relational style and a combination of evidence-based, cognitive-behavioral (or "talk") therapy, expressive arts, somatic approaches, and mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques to connect you with your body, mind, and spirit. My approach is client-centered and trauma informed, using a psychodynamic approach to track where issues may appear in the family system. Where appropriate, I weave in the language and practice of ecotherapy, because nature has its own way of re-setting us and helping us to feel more grounded in our bodies and nervous systems.

It is my privilege and honor to work with you.

When working with children, I use a holistic, developmentally appropriate, child-centered approach to play therapy. Play offers a safe and nurturing way for a child to cope with and express their emotions, while developing new solutions and coping skills to navigate their day-to-day life. I come with an abundance of experience working with children and families, and it is my honor to do so.

Therapy can look a lot of different ways, and I will work with you to find a way in which our time together facilitates growth and healing. "We are all just walking each other home." -Ram Dass
